On the morning of January 1, 2022, the main venue of the “China Sports Lottery” 2022 National New Year Ascension Fitness Conference hosted by the State Sports General Administration was held in Zhangjiajie Global Geopark. Several venues for the country, including Fuzhou in Fujian, Altay in Xinjiang, and Guiyang in Guizhou, were linked together to welcome the new year.
In the morning, 2,000 mountaineering enthusiasts set off from the Huangshizhai Scenic Spot’s entrance, in a group of 50 people, set off to climb the mountain in different periods and in batches. The whole climbing route is 3.8 kilometers, the starting point is 700 meters above sea level, and the summit is 1080 meters above sea level.
