United Nations Sustainable Development Goals: 17 SDGs for a Changing World

The 17 Sustainable Development Goals are a blueprint for a better and more sustainable future for all. The Goals outline the global challenges we face, including those related to poverty, inequality, climate, environmental degradation, prosperity, and peace and justice. These goals are interconnected and designed to leave no one behind; we must achieve each one by 2030.

Goal 1: Eradicate poverty in all its forms worldwide.

Goal 2: Eradicate hunger, achieve food security, improve nutrition, and promote sustainable agriculture.

Goal 3: Ensure healthy lifestyles and promote well-being for all ages.

Goal 4: Ensure inclusive and equitable quality education and lifelong learning opportunities for all.

Goal 5: Achieve gender equality and empower all women and girls.

Goal 6: Provide water and sanitation for all and manage them sustainably.

Goal 7: Ensure access to affordable, reliable, and sustainable modern energy for all.

Goal 8: Promote sustained, inclusive, and sustainable economic growth, and promote full productive employment and decent work for all.

Goal 9: Build resilient infrastructure, promote inclusive and sustainable industrialization, and drive innovation.

Goal 10: Reduce inequality within and between nations.

Goal 11: Build inclusive, safe, resilient, and sustainable cities and human settlements.

Goal 12: Adopt sustainable consumption and production patterns.

Goal 13: Take urgent action to address climate change and its impacts.

Goal 14: Protecting and sustainably using the ocean and its resources for sustainable development

Goal 15: Protecting, restoring and promoting the sustainable use of terrestrial ecosystems; sustainably managing forests; combating desertification; halting and reversing land degradation; and curbing biodiversity loss.

Goal 16: Creating peaceful and inclusive societies for sustainable development, with access to justice for all and effective, accountable and inclusive institutions at all levels.
