Public Notice of the People’s Government of Chizhou Municipality on the Establishment of Temporary Airspace Control in Certain Areas of Jiuhuashan Global Geopark

To ensure public safety in key scenic areas during the May Day holiday, and in accordance with thePublic Security Administration Punishment Law of the People's Republic of China, theInterim Regulation on the Management of Unmanned Aircraft Flight, and other relevant laws and regulations, temporary airspace control will be implemented in certain areas of Jiuhuashan Global Geopark. The relevant matters are hereby announced as follows:

I. Period and Scope of Airspace Control

From May 1, 2026, to May 5, 2026, temporary airspace control will be implemented in the flyable airspace within a vertical height of 120 meters (Above Ground Level) in the following areas:

(1) Visitor Center Area

The area within the four points defined by: 15m west of Wanyuan Inn; the northeast side of the intersection of Lianhua Avenue and Kecun North Road; 15m east of Manman Guesthouse (Jiuhuashan Visitor Center Branch); and 20m south of the Industrial and Commercial Bank of China (Chizhou Jiuhuashan Sub-branch).

(2) Dayuan Culture Park Area
The area within the four points defined by: the southeast side of the intersection of Lianhua Avenue and Kecun South Road; the northeast side of the intersection of Lianhua Avenue and Longxi Bridge; 100m west of Yunshui Bieyuan; and 50m west of Dayuan Zen Temple.

The area within the four points defined by: 20m west of Baiyun Zen Temple; the north side of Qiyuan Temple Stupa Yard; the east side of Baishui Palace Scenic Area; and the south side of Wanfo Pagoda.

II. Types of Controlled Aircraft

All types of unmanned aircraft (drones) and model aircraft as defined in theInterim Regulation on the Management of Unmanned Aircraft Flight.

III. Strict Adherence to Approval Procedures

Units, organizations, and individuals with a genuine necessity for flight activities must submit an application in advance through the Civil Unmanned Aircraft Integrated Management Platform (UOM Platform). Applications must comply with theInterim Regulation on the Management of Unmanned Aircraft Flight.Flight may only proceed after approval by the platform and filing with the public security organs. During the period of temporary airspace control, public security organs, in conjunction with relevant departments, will conduct patrols. Residents, tourists, and flight enthusiasts are requested to cooperate actively, consciously abide by the provisions of this notice, and eliminate illegal flights. Public security organs, together with relevant departments, will investigate and handle illegal flight behavior in accordance with the law; where a crime is suspected, criminal responsibility will be pursued according to the law.

Any unit or individual discovering behavior that violates this notice may report it to the public security organs.
