Newly Discovered Stone Carvings of Jiayou Period of Northern Song Dynasty in Jiuhuashan

Recently, a census team of immovable cultural relics in Jiuhuashan found a stone carving in the Jiayou (1056) period of the Northern Song Dynasty on a boulder directly under the Shugutan Waterfall during the re-examination of the Guangsheng Temple site. The carving says," Zhu Yingzhi, Chen Gongji, Lu Congshan, Wang Maoxian, Deng Shunfeng, Liu Shiyu, Wu Tianxi, on the first year of Jiayou October 22." The carving is 123 cm in width, 70 cm in length, the maximum length of a single character is 12 cm, 14 cm in width. The words "at ease" engraved on the west side of the boulder are inscribed in running script, with a length of 138 cm and a width of 70 cm.
