From December 15 to 17, a series of activities such as popular science lectures at East China University of Technology were successfully held, including "Magic and beautiful place, Great Wish Jiuhuashan——Jiuhuashan Global GeoPark Popular Science Campus Tour".
The activity was organized by the Management Committee of Jiuhuashan Global GeoPark, and co-organized by Geoparker and School of Geo-tourism and Planning Engineering, East China University of Technology. The theme of the lecture was Geological and Cultural Landscape of Anhui Jiuhuashan Geopark, which attracted the participation of leaders from East China University of Technology and more than 200 teachers and students.
The lecture was narrated by foot Geoparker and staff of jiuhua Mountain National Geopark Management Office. In sharing the speaker by graphic form, in plain language to present geological knowledge and teachers and students to focus on the Jiuhuashan Global Geopark plant landscape, animals, landscape, cultural landscape and so on, it analyzed the Jiuhuashan terrain landscape and ecological landscape of "high, pure and fresh, moist, lush" characteristics.
After the lecture, the management office of Jiuhuashan Global Geopark donated geology, tourism and culture books related to Jiuhuashan to the School. Then, the volunteer of science popularization in Jiuhuashan Global Geopark explained to the students the feeling of being a volunteer of science popularization in Jiuhuashan Global Geopark.
This popular science tour is one of the series of popular science activities carefully prepared by Jiuhuashan Global Geopark. Next, jiuhuashan will also carry out more colorful science popularization activities, contributing more to the popularization of science in the geopark.
