On September 12, nearly 100 travel industry professionals from 19 countries and regions embarked on a specialized familiarization tour across Chizhou as part of the 14th Anhui International Cultural Tourism Festival. Delegates visited Pingtian Lake National Wetland Park, the century-old Runsi Keemun Black Tea Factory, and Jiuhuashan UNESCO Global Geopark, immersing themselves in the region's "landscape of rivers and mountains, poetic city of millennia."
Travel agents praised Chizhou's harmonious integration of natural wonders, cultural heritage, and historical legacy—from Pingtian Lake's mist-shrouded waters to Jiuhuashan's sacred Buddhist landscapes. Many committed to designing specialized itineraries that showcase Chizhou's tea culture, ecological treasures, and spiritual heritage for international travelers.
This reconnaissance trip—co-organized by Anhui Provincial Department of Culture and Tourism and Chizhou Municipal Government—significantly elevated Chizhou's global tourism profile while establishing concrete pathways for international visitor engagement.
