On September 15, Jiuhuashan UNESCO Global Geopark captivated Beijing audiences with a multidimensional tourism promotion at the newly reopened Chizhou Shidai Guild Hall. Blending intangible heritage performances, product exhibitions, and interactive experiences, the event immersed capital residents in Jiuhuashan's cultural essence within the historic courtyard of this 400-year-old architectural treasure.

The guild hall buzzed with energy as attendees explored Jiuhuashan's offerings through high-definition videos transporting viewers to the "Foremost Mountain Southeast of the Yangtze," showcasing its geological wonders and Buddhist heritage. Tourism planners unveiled experiential three-day itineraries featuring homestay accommodations, local cuisine, and guided treks through Jiuhua Street, Tiantai Peak, and Huatai Scenic Area. Folk performances like the Jiuhua Tea Picking Balladsresonated through the space, their authentic melodies reflecting local hospitality and earning enthusiastic applause.

Cultural derivatives displayed in the product pavilion—including Ruyi scepters symbolizing good fortune, Dizhi guardian figurines embodying spiritual protection, and intricately carved blessing pendants—drew admiration for their craftsmanship. Functional products like Jiuhuang herbal supplements, wild mushrooms, and stone ear fungi impressed visitors with tangible wellness benefits and affordability, signaling strong market potential in Beijing.

This event unfolded within the Shidai Guild Hall at 20 Daxi Hutong, a Ming Dynasty (1624) architectural gem revitalized through the 2022 cultural partnership between Dongcheng District and Chizhou City. Having reopened on September 10 after meticulous restoration, the 576m² complex now serves as a dynamic cultural nexus integrating digital exhibitions of Chizhou's history, academic exchange forums, Anhui-style courtyard aesthetics, and regional tourism promotion. Its triple-courtyard structure, adorned with Huizhou architectural elements and themed "Majestic Landscapes, Cultural Enchantment," stands as both a testament to centuries of Beijing-Chizhou cultural exchange and a contemporary bridge strengthening hometown connections among diaspora communities.
