Birds and other wildlife are friends of humanity, vital components of natural ecosystems, and precious natural resources bestowed by nature. Protecting wildlife is not only essential for harmonious coexistence between humans and wild animals but also an important indicator of social civility. In your daily life and work, please conscientiously abide by the following rules and requirements:

1.It is strictly prohibited to illegally hunt, kill, or harm protected wildlife such as birds. Do not install or set up capture nets or protective nets that may harm birds (including sticky nets, mist nets, etc.) in agricultural production areas such as vegetable plots, orchards, or fish ponds. Do not set up traps, snares, or electric fences in forested areas. Do not use sound recordings, decoy birds, or live bait to trap wild birds.

2.It is strictly prohibited to illegally transport, purchase, sell, or utilize birds, other wildlife, or their products.

3.Intentionally or maliciously causing injury or death to birds or other wildlife, or illegally hunting or consuming wildlife, constitutes illegal behavior. Once discovered, the competent wildlife authorities will strictly investigate and punish such acts; if the act constitutes a criminal offense, criminal liability will be pursued in accordance with the law.

Protecting birds and other wildlife is a legal duty of every citizen and an essential requirement for maintaining ecological security and promoting sustainable development. Let us join hands, start with small actions, and take concrete steps to safeguard the right of wildlife to survive, working together to build a beautiful homeland where humans and nature coexist in harmony!

The Agriculture, Forestry and Water Resources Bureau of Jiuhuashan Scenic Area has established a supervision and reporting hotline: 0566-2821058. While all residents are expected to abide by the regulations, please actively report any illegal activities you may witness.
