1. High-Speed Rail (Jiuhuashan Station or Chizhou Station)
Jiuhuashan Station is located to the northeast of Jiuhuashan. Opened in 2024, it mainly serves core provincial capitals in the Yangtze River Delta, such as Shanghai, Nanjing, Hangzhou, Hefei, etc. The station is about 20 km from the Jiuhuashan Visitor Service Center. After exiting the station, take a shuttle bus to the Visitor Service Center (20 minutes), then purchase the scenic area ticket and combined transportation pass, and transfer to the scenic area bus at the Visitor Service Center to go up the mountain (25 minutes).

Chizhou Station is located in Chizhou city proper. It mainly serves core cities in the Yangtze River Delta as well as some cities in Central and South China, such as Shanghai, Nanjing, Hangzhou, Hefei, Suzhou, Wuxi, Changzhou, Ningbo, Wuhan, Guangzhou, etc. Chizhou Station is about 40 km from the Jiuhuashan Visitor Service Center. At the station exit, there is a Jiuhua travel service point where you can purchase the scenic area combined transportation pass (50 RMB) on-site. With this pass, you can take a free shuttle bus from Chizhou Station to the Jiuhuashan Visitor Service Center (50 minutes). Then transfer to the scenic area bus at the Visitor Service Center to go up the mountain.

2. Airport (Chizhou Jiuhuashan Airport)
Jiuhuashan Airport is located in Chizhou city proper, about 35 km from the Jiuhuashan Visitor Service Center. There is a direct bus from the airport to the Visitor Service Center, but departures are limited. It is recommended to inquire in advance.

3. Self-Driving (Expressways)
To reach Jiuhuashan Scenic Area by expressway, the main routes are the G3 Jingtai Expressway and the G50 Shanghai–Chongqing Expressway.

Note:
Starting from March 2026, Jiuhuashan will implement continuous traffic control. From Sunday to Thursday, the control is lifted at 17:00, allowing self-driving up the mountain. A maximum of 1,500 vehicles per day are allowed; once the quota is reached, control is reinstated. It is recommended to check the control status for the day via official platforms before departure.
24-hour control periods: Fridays, Saturdays, the 1st and 15th days of the lunar month (Buddhist holidays), and statutory public holidays. For specific inquiries, contact the Jiuhuashan Traffic Police Brigade at 0566-2821218. If traffic control is in effect, you may park your vehicle at the Visitor Service Center parking lot (30 RMB/day) and take the scenic area shuttle bus up the mountain.
4. Scenic Area Transportation Operating Hours
(1) Up-Mountain / Down-Mountain Buses
Up-mountain bus: 6:00–17:00 (extended to 22:00 on holidays)
Down-mountain bus: 6:30–17:30 (extended to 22:00 on holidays)
Stops along the route: Jiuhuashan Visitor Service Center → Dayuan Culture Park → Nanzhuang → Yingxian Bridge
Note: If you wish to go to Ganlu Temple (halfway up the mountain), be sure to inform the driver in advance to let you off at Ganlu Temple. After visiting, return to the drop-off point and call the reservation number on the stop sign. Staff will reserve a seat for you on the next departure and inform you of the bus number. The journey up or down takes about 15 minutes.
(2) Tiantai Scenic Area Special Line
Jiuhua Street → Tiantai Scenic Area: 6:30–17:00
Tiantai Scenic Area → Jiuhua Street: 7:00–17:30

(3) Jiuhua Town Loop Bus
