On October 25, 2023, Arxan UNESCO Global Geopark launched a week-long geoheritage conservation campaign across its territory. The initiative aims to showcase the park’s unique natural and cultural resources, consolidate conservation achievements, and elevate public awareness of protecting Earth’s environment.
During the campaign, over 10 on-site presentations engaged 230+ participants, demonstrating UNESCO Global Geopark’s educational role in advocating for geoheritage and environmental protection. Future efforts will pivot to hybrid outreach models—expanding offline science activities onto digital platforms via new media channels.
Through innovative online-offline interaction formats, the park plans to:
Amplify dissemination of natural and cultural heritage;
Develop exploratory outreach models leveraging its UNESCO Global Geopark status.
