Jiuhuashan Tourist Routes (Hot)

I. "Spiritual Mountain Jiuhua, Buddha Blessing the World" Jiuhuashan Panoramic Tour

 

D1. Take a bus from the previous stop to Jiuhuashan. Our travel agency's guide will pick up the group at the Jiuhuashan Tourist Center holding the "Jiuhua Shareholding China International Travel Service" flag. Pass by Ganlu Temple to visit the Jiuhuashan Buddhist Academy, understand the studying and living conditions of the monks, and the origin, development, and current status of Jiuhuashan Buddhism and the Ksitigarbha bodhimanda. Visit the founding temple of Jiuhuashan—Huacheng Temple, and the three major halls (Mahavira Hall, Dayuan Hall, and Dabei Hall). After dinner, go to Zhiyuan Temple to watch Buddhist activities. Stay in Jiuhua Street.

 

D2. After breakfast, take a bus to Minyuan Scenic Area, and visit the "Number One Pine in the World"—the Ancient Phoenix Pine. Take the Tiantai ropeway to Baijingtai, visit Baijingtai (the large footprint of Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva), Guanyin Peak, Roc Hearing Sutras Stone, and Golden Turtle Facing the North Star. Worship at the highest temple in Jiuhuashan—Tiantai Temple, overlook the highest peak at an altitude of 1,342 meters—Shiwang Peak, look south at Huangshan Mountain like a screen, and look north at the Yangtze River like a white silk ribbon. Stroll along Qinglong Bei, Pengri Pavilion, and Yixiantian. Take the ropeway down the mountain, visit Flesh Palace (the flesh pagoda hall of Dayuan Kim Gyo-gak Bodhisattva) and Dizang Zen Temple. After lunch, take the Baisui Palace ground cable car up to Mokong Ridge of Dongyan, worship the natural sleeping Buddha (the shape of the mountain exactly resembles the late Master Rende, president of the Jiuhuashan Buddhist Association), and pay respects to the true body of Monk Wuxia, a high monk of the Ming Dynasty who passed away at the age of 126. Visit the Five Hundred Arhats Hall, Dongyan Zen Temple, and Yunfang. Take the cable car or walk down the mountain, go to Tonghui Nunnery, and pay respects to the true body of Nun Renyi, a unique famous doctor and nun in Buddhist history. Stay in Jiuhua New Area.

 

D3. In the morning, take a bus to the most beautiful place in Jiuhuashan—Huatai Scenic Area. Take the most advanced and safest new ropeway to the main peak of Huatai, pass the Precept Stone, and enter the Buddhist Gate. Along the way, enjoy the Minyuan Grand Canyon, the ancient battlefield of the Ming Dynasty—Dagu Peak, the Ksitigarbha holy relic—Immortal Drying Boots Stone, Golden Turtle Crossing the Sea, and the Natural Buddha. Overlook the Fairy Traces of Tianzhu Peak from afar, and have a bird's-eye view of the panorama of Jiuhuashan. Hike among the green hills and clear waters, and experience the harmonious state of humans and Buddha described as "Making a great vow at Jiuhuashan, releasing your mood at Huatai." Take the ropeway down the mountain, and see off the group after lunch.

 

II. Jiuhuashan Praying and Sightseeing Two-Day Tour

 

D1. Take a bus from the previous stop to Jiuhuashan. Our guide will pick up the group at the Jiuhuashan Tourist Center with a flag. After lunch, visit the Jiuhuashan Cultural Relics Museum—the founding temple Huacheng Temple. Take the Jiuhuashan ground cable car, fully equipped with Austrian imported equipment, up to Baisui Palace. Worship the natural sleeping Buddha (the shape of the mountain exactly resembles the late Master Rende, president of the Jiuhuashan Buddhist Association), pay respects to the true body of Master Wuxia, a high monk of the Ming Dynasty who passed away at the age of 126, and visit the Five Hundred Arhats Hall. D2. After breakfast, take a bus to Minyuan Scenic Area, visit the "Number One Pine in the World"—the Ancient Phoenix Pine, and the Minyuan nunnery complex. Take the Tiantai ropeway to Baijingtai, visit Baijingtai (the large footprint of Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva), Natural Guanyin Stone, Roc Hearing Sutras Stone, and Golden Turtle Facing the North Star. Climb Tiantai Peak to experience "Reaching the peak, seeing all other mountains as small." Visit the highest temple in Jiuhuashan—Tiantai Temple, overlook the highest peak at an altitude of 1,342 meters—Shiwang Peak, look south at Huangshan Mountain like a screen, and look north at the Yangtze River like a white silk ribbon. Stroll along Qinglong Bei, Pengri Pavilion, and Yixiantian. Take the ropeway down the mountain. D3. After breakfast, head to the National 4A Dawang Cave Scenic Area. The scenic area consists of four major attractions: the unpredictable color gallery "Dawang Cave", the fairyland on earth "Linyu Canyon", the world's greatest naturally sculpted "Natural Stone Bridge", and the leisure paradise "Dawang Lake". It is a massive artistic masterpiece integrating mountains, water, caves, and cultural landscapes. The whole tour takes about two and a half hours. After lunch, end the pleasant journey and see off the group.

 

IV. "Two Mountains and One Lake" Charming Landscape Tour

 

D1. Take a bus from the previous stop to Jiuhuashan. After picking up the group in the afternoon, visit the Jiuhuashan Buddhist Academy (Ganlu Temple), Huacheng Temple, Dabei Hall, Zhiyuan Temple, and Jiuhua Street. Stay in Jiuhuashan.

 

D2. In the morning, visit Flesh Palace, take a bus to the Phoenix Pine, and take the cable car up and down Tiantai. Visit Baijingtai, Tiantai Zhengding, Roc Hearing Sutras Stone, Golden Turtle Facing the North Star, and Yixiantian. In the afternoon, take the Jiuhuashan ground cable car up to Baisui Palace, view the natural sleeping Buddha, pay respects to the true body of Wuxia, and visit the Five Hundred Arhats Hall, Dongyan Zen Temple, Huixiang Pavilion, and Tonghui Nunnery, etc. Stay in Jiuhuashan.

 

D3. After breakfast, take a bus to Taiping Lake (about 2 hours) and visit Monkey Island, Deer Island, and Bagua Island. In the afternoon, take the Taiping Ropeway up Huangshan Mountain, and visit Paiyun Pavilion, Immortal Drying Boots Stone, and the Magic Scenic Area. Stay in Huangshan.

 

D4. View the sunrise in the morning, visit the Xihai Scenic Area, Beihai Scenic Area, Lion Peak, Shixin Peak, Guangming Summit, Yixiantian, Lotus Peak, and Yuping Pavilion. Take the front mountain cable car down, and take a bus back.

 

V. Jiuhuashan and Yixian Visiting and Study Tour

 

D1. Take a bus from the previous stop to Jiuhuashan. After lunch, take the Jiuhuashan ground cable car up to Baisui Palace. Worship the natural sleeping Buddha (the shape of the mountain exactly resembles the late Master Rende, president of the Jiuhuashan Buddhist Association), pay respects to the true body of Master Wuxia, a high monk of the Ming Dynasty who passed away at the age of 126. D4. After breakfast, visit Huangshan's companion—Taiping Lake. After lunch, take a bus back.
