Painting Mountains and Rivers with Brushes, Protecting the Earth with Heart | 2026 Jiuhuashan Global Geopark 57th Earth Day Themed Works Collection Award Winners Announced!

To celebrate the 57th Earth Day in 2026, the "Friendly Sister Geoparks Linkage" event, and the 7th Asia-Pacific Geoparks Week, Jiuhuashan Global Geopark , together with the Jiuhuashan Scenic Area Care for Next Generation Committee and the Jiuhuashan Scenic Area Central School, jointly organized the 2026 Jiuhuashan Global Geopark  April 22 Earth Day themed works collection activity.

Under the theme "Cherish Natural Resources, Protect Beautiful China", primary and secondary school students around Jiuhuashan Global Geopark actively participated. Using their paintbrushes to depict nature and their childlike hearts to protect the Earth, over 100 works were submitted. After extensive solicitation and careful selection by Jiuhuashan Global Geopark, 19 awards were granted: 1 first prize, 3 second prizes, 5 third prizes, and 10 honorable mentions.
