The 2nd Asia-Pacific Geoparks Week & 52nd World Earth Day Science Popularization Activities were Successfully Organized

   In order to carry out science popularization activities during the 2021 World Earth Day, strengthen the publicity and science popularization interaction of sister geoparks, and display the protection and development achievements of global geoparks, supported by the Global Geoparks Network, the Asia-Pacific Geoparks Network, and the National Geoparks Network Center, sponsored Danxiashan UGGp and Yandangshan UGGp, the 2nd Asia-Pacific Geoparks Week & 52nd World Earth Day Science Popularization Activities was held by 24 global geoparks in China, Japan, Thailand, Vietnam and other countries on April 22^nd – 28^th.

       During the 7-day 2^nd Asia-Pacific Geopark Week, through a series of science popularization activities such as photo exhibitions, video exhibitions, science popularization lectures, and the 5^th “Most Beautiful Earth Mark” Geopark Photography Competition, the influence of science popularization, the exchange of resource information and the sharing of the construction achievements among the global geoparks will be further promoted.
