The "Yangtze Delta Media Tour of Jiuhuashan" multimedia campaign launched on November 9 to elevate the scenic area's global image and showcase development achievements. Wu Jingang, Deputy Director of the Administrative Committee, announced at the opening ceremony that Jiuhuashan has surpassed pre-pandemic tourism levels with over 3 million core-area visitors in Q1-Q3 2023—two-thirds originating from the Yangtze Delta region. He urged media partners to jointly construct collaborative bridges and communication matrices that "amplify the Yangtze Delta narrative and share Jiuhuashan's compelling stories."
Wu Hao, Anhui Provincial Committee member and Phoenix Network Anhui Chairman, pledged to leverage global platforms to "measure Jiuhuashan through footsteps, portray it through words, and document it through lenses—revealing China's cultural essence to the world." Following the ceremonial flag presentation by Wang Shiqin, journalists from 25 outlets including People's Daily, Xinhua News, and CCTV explored Jiuhua Old Street, Huatai Scenic Area, and cultural relics museums during the two-day "Majestic Landscapes, Cultural Enchantment" immersion program.
