On February 24, Jiuhuashan Scenic Area welcomed dozens of elite university students with local roots for the "Spring Rendezvous: Gathering of Future Leaders" initiative. Deputy Director Wu Jingang and Political Department Director Li Junpeng presided over the symposium following an immersive tour of key development projects. Participants explored the Laotian Model Village and upgraded Convention Center, witnessing firsthand the scenic area’s socioeconomic momentum.
During discussions, Wu Jingang extended Lunar New Year greetings while underscoring Jiuhuashan’s tourism milestones: Spring Festival recorded 471,900 visits (a 50% YoY surge) and ¥473 million revenue (47% growth), reflecting resilient development. He emphasized the administration’s commitment to high-quality growth through domestic demand expansion and livelihood enhancement. Wu personally invited scholars to champion their homeland by serving as global ambassadors, contributing insights on cultural tourism and rural revitalization, and aligning personal aspirations with Jiuhuashan’s vision to build world-class cultural-tourism destinations.
Concluding the event, Wu appointed six students as official Homeland Liaison Officers, entrusting them with certificates to foster enduring connections between Jiuhuashan’s future and its academic diaspora.
