"Jiu" Shine · Be Your Most Beautiful Self — Jiuhuashan Global Geopark Celebrates International Women's Day
On March 6th, Jiuhuashan Global Geopark held the theme activity "'Jiu' Shine · Be Your Most Beautiful Self" to grandly celebrate the 116th International Women's Day. Wu Jingang, full-time Deputy Secretary of the Party Working Committee and Deputy Director of the Management Committee, and Yan Li, Member of the Party Working Committee and Director of the Political Department, attended the event and extended holiday greetings to the female employees sticking to their posts on all fronts of the geopark.
At the event, 150 female representatives from towns, government organs, and enterprises and public institutions participated in fun competitions such as "Jump Bravely", "Aim at Dreams", "Knock Down Doubts", and "Stabilize the Center of Gravity", and experienced Song Brocade intangible cultural heritage handmade production, demonstrating the vitality and elegance of women in the new era.
The geopark has long focused on the role of women in ecological protection, popular science education, and the community economy. Through popular science training, supporting women's cooperative enterprises, and providing employment opportunities in handicrafts and homestays, it not only helps women realize economic independence and personal value but also promotes the development of home-based handicraft industries and craft products, fostering the community economy and the inheritance of traditional culture.
